Sungusto preserve and pickle label family
A label system for a range running from sun-dried tomatoes to jalapeño pickles, reading as one brand on the shelf.
Sungusto had a product range that had grown independently: sun-dried tomatoes, jalapeños, gherkins, mixed pickles. Each had been designed at a different time, and side by side on the shelf they did not look like products of the same brand.
We built a shared skeleton: the sun emblem and script logo on top, a fixed typographic hierarchy for the product name in the middle, bilingual weight information at the bottom. Only colour and product image change.
Because jar shape and label size differ per product, every label was proofed separately; the type area was repositioned to account for the area hidden under the cap and the curve of the glass.
